WAIFS’ CEO, Louise Edwards, and Managing Director, Sean Tuhakaraina, lead the team that’s ready to guide you through your study experience at WAIFS.

WAIFS’ team members have diverse qualifications, work backgrounds, connections with industry and personal talents, and hail from around the globe. What they all have in common is a dedication to standards and to help you get the most out of your experience at WAIFS.

When you study at WAIFS, you’ll become very familiar with some of these staff members as they have regular and direct contact with you, assisting you with day-to-day issues and referring you to more specialized help if needed. Behind the scenes are other staff working away at tasks, including but not limited to, handling your admission and course selection, maintaining your records and issuing your awards such as Certificates and/or Diplomas. This is all done to ensure that you have a smooth and enjoyable time here at WAIFS.

WAIFS’ Managing Director, Sean Tuhakaraina, also takes a hands-on role in marketing.

This team promotes WAIFS’ profile and courses to agents, institutions and the public. They are very active in organising learning pathways, including articulation (connections) between courses WAIFS offers and courses at universities. They also spend significant time in guiding individual students to find pathways that are the most suitable to them. The team has a detailed understanding of laws and government policies that affect students at training organisations.
