  • Pathways/Articulation

After successful completion of this course, you will have the opportunity to continue your studies at an Australian university and may be able to apply for advanced standing in the degree course of your choice. The level of articulation may vary between universities, so you are advised to apply to the universities of your choice well in advance of completion of your qualification at WAIFS.

Furthermore, WAIFS has an articulation pathway with Murdoch University. This means that if you chose to study WAIFS Diploma of Accounting + WAIFS Advanced Diploma of Accounting, you can continue on and study a Bachelor of Business (B1318) studying in Accounting OR a Double Major in Accounting and Finance at Murdoch University in 2 years instead of 3 years!

WAIFS also has an affiliation with IPA (Institute of Public Accountants), the membership  body for accountants, who offer accounting graduates significantly discounted professional memberships to help give our students assistance when transitioning from Student to Associate Member in their early career years.

The full IPA Program is made up of two stages:

Stage One: WAIFS Advanced Diploma of Accounting graduates will only need to complete 2 units instead of 6 units to achieve full IPA membership.
