Course Outline

This program is where you will begin to develop skills to help you manage your everyday personal and social life. You will also learn about careers, education pathways and develop employability skills through the introduction to English language, literacy and numeracy. At the end of this course, students should be approximately at a 5.0 IELTS equivalent level.

*Please note all WAIFS courses are also offered via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

** This course will be delivered and assessed via classroom delivery, distance learning and online assessment.

  • Entry Requirements

    Successful completion of Year 9 or equivalent (or equivalent).

    IELTS score of 3.5 (or equivalent).

  • Pathways/Articulation

    Successful completion of this qualification provides you with a pathway into other Certificate II and Certificate III level qualifications.

  • Domestic Fees

    Tuition Fee: $1,830.00

    Materials Fee: $150.00

    A one off $250.00 Enrolment Fee is applicable to process the Application.

    *Course fees may change. This is usually annually on 1 July and typically no more than 4%. Fees quoted are in AUS Dollars.
