Course Outline

This program focuses on general language development including oral and listening skills, and reading and writing skills relating to a range of topics and themes to an intermediate level. At the end of this course, students should be approximately at a 5.0 IELTS equivalent level.

*Please note all WAIFS courses are also offered via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

** This course will be delivered and assessed via classroom delivery, distance learning and online assessment.

  • Entry Requirements

    Successful completion of Year 10 (or equivalent).

    IELTS score of 4.5 (or equivalent).

  • Pathways/Articulation

    Successful completion of this qualification gives you a pathway into other Certificate III and Certificate IV level qualifications, especially Certificate IV in Spoken and Written English (Further Studies).

  • Domestic Fees

    Tuition Fee: $1,830.00

    Materials Fee: $150.00

    A one off $250.00 Enrolment Fee is applicable to process the Application.

    *Course fees may change. This is usually annually on 1 July and typically no more than 4%.
